Staff Counselors

 

 

Donna L. Grossnickle, LCSW-C has more than 20 years' experience as a psychotherapist. She specializes in attachment disorders, and trauma work/PTSD with adults and children. Donna has concentrated training in play therapy, anger management, ADHD behavior problems, adult and child sexual abuse, borderline states, and bonding issues. She counsels children, adolescents, adults and families. Donna has completed the post-masters certificate training specializing in child and adolescent treatment.  Donna is a court appointed parenting coordinator.

 

 

 

 

Rosemary Thomas, LCPC received a M.S. in counseling from Western Md. College (formerly McDaniel College). She received her Certificate of Advanced Study in Pastoral Counseling from Loyola and is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor. She has worked in the field for fifteen years and has experience in working with men, women, and children in domestic abuse, rape, and sexual assault. Her style is holistic and she believes in the importance of the body, mind, and spirit connection to healing.

 

 

 

 

Teri Heger, LCSW-C holds a Bachelors Degree in Law & Society from Hood and a Masters in Clinical Social Work from the University of Maryland, with a concentration in Families and Children. Teri's professional  experience includes clinical work with children and adolescents, adults, families, and groups. She specializes in domestic violence and sexual trauma, teen pregnancy, spirituality, depression, anxiety, post traumatic stress, substance abuse, grief & loss, and custody & visitation. Teri has particular interests in community development, social action, advocacy, forensic social work, and women's issues.  Teri is also a court appointed Parenting Coordinator.
